So here’s the thing. I love cooking, and I love teaching, ergo – I love teaching people how to cook. And like with any hobby or passion, the tools and services you use are important.

There are many books, products, and services you can use to become a better cook. And there are many that are simply a waste of time (I’m looking at you, crock pots and “avocado slicers”).

Some of my posts are going to feature books, products, and services that I’ve used to become a better scratch good. I’ll link out to these resources with “affiliate links” when I can. This means that if you click on the link and buy the product I’m recommending, I’ll get a commission and make some money.

This is a primary way that I’ll be monetizing this website since this is a business for me and I want to be able to do this for years down the road.

For example, We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

My promise to you, the reader: I will only promote what I believe will help you become a better scratch cook. If you have any questions about this, please let me know by contacting me and I’ll be happy to answer.
